I hate meringue, so I make my lemon pie without meringue and instead used whipped cream!\u00a0 I also use some lemon zest on top.<\/p>\n

I made this from scratch today.<\/p>\n

Lemon Pie without Meringue<\/h2>\n

1 cup of sugar
\n2 tbsp flour
\n3 tbsp cornstarch
\n1\/8 tsp salt
\n1 1\/2 cups of water
\n2 lemons, juice and rind zest
\n2 tbsp butter
\n4 egg yolks
