Having a Stepmom<\/strong> – Growing up, I remember first meeting my step mother, my first thought was, she\u2019s nice but weird. She had big glasses, and flashy blue spandex on, and was smoking in my dad\u2019s purple mustang hehe.\u00a0 The spandex has left, but the weird and niceness never has\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 As the years went on, we had so much fun with my dad and step mom. She was so different, funny, she would do weird things, her and my dad teased each other,\u00a0 she would be random, and stick her feet out the window while driving to make us laugh, or scare the crap out of dad, show us things we had never seen before like how to burn everything on the BBQ to a crisp lol, or how great salt fish is(ick), how to take jokes, how to play them and how to love and accept someone new into you life.\u00a0 I am very thankful for my step mom.<\/p>\n

Being a step mom<\/strong> \u2013 I was scared of being involved with kids. I thought I was never good with kids, I was scared of kids because I knew how bad I was as a child lol so kids made me worry. \u00a0I am extremely lucky to have amazingly awesome step kids. This Mothers Day I had a few tear ups, as we were driving in the car and out of the blue Maddy asked to have some paper and a pen.\u00a0 About 10 times she wrote over and over again this:
